So that's the first of 4 regiments completed. Pretty happy with how they've turned out.
I am going to do a second regiment in white/grey coats as this seems a common colour in the Northern Royalist army. I've also ordered a couple of the cavalry sprues to see what they are like.
Nice work! If I did not already have a massive ECW collection in 30mm, I would be very tempted by this smaller scale.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jonathan, if I hadn't sold my 28mm cavalry I don't think I'd have gone for this scale
DeleteNice work Scotty. The poses look very similar to Warlord 28mm....have they just shrunk the larger figures, or are they completely new sculpts?
ReplyDeleteA lot of the poses do look very similar, particularly the pike and the shotte in a marching pose
DeleteVery nice; so there are ? roughly 12mm scale?
ReplyDeleteCheers, I think they are marketed as 13.5mm, bit of a weird scale. I'm hoping to mix in some of the smaller 15mm ranges into the cavalry once they arrive
DeleteGreat work on these minis!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal
DeleteThey look superb Neil. Really give a feeling of mass.
ReplyDeleteCheers Richard, it's the mass effect I'm looking for
