So on Thursday at the club some last minute changes to the games had to be made, so instead of a large game of Alpha strike, Myself and Mitch dug out the Quar for an impromptu game. So a squad each and a quick table set up we cracked on with the game. It didn't take long to pick up the rules. No report as such as we just had fun. My glorious Crusaders once again delivered a bloody nose/snout to the tyrannical Coftryans.

It was a good couple of hours of fun. Mitch who is re-known at the club for rolling low dice, suddenly began rolling high, often 13 or more on 3 dice. A shame in this game when rolling low is better. But we had fun, so much so we'll give the game another run out next week.
Really love your Quar stuff :)
ReplyDeleteHave to try someday.
Cheers Michal, it's a fun game
DeleteSounds like you had fun Scotty! Our mate Rick has the same issue with dice - and I am sure he would start rolling sixes if a one was the best result he could get!
ReplyDeleteCheers Keith, we have a couple at the club we'll known for poor dice rolling
DeleteNeat little action with some fine-looking models and layout.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jonathan
DeleteGreat looking set up Neil and great fun to match.
ReplyDeleteCheers Richard
DeleteNice looking game, always fun to be had with Quar.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie, on of those games you can't take seriously
DeleteYou know I’m a big fan of Quar games! Quar over Alpha strike anytime. 😀
ReplyDeleteCheers Stew, they are both games I enjoy as a break from historical games
