FPW Prussian Dragoons

These are the 3rd Dragoon regiment. I'll be using these as the start of XII Division. Unlike the rest of my Prussian cavalry which are from Essex miniatures, these are from Outpost miniatures.

I've now got the first infantry regiment awaiting undercoating. Hopefully I can make progress on these shortly. I've also put in an order with Outpost for another 8 artillery pieces, some Uhlans and more Dragoons.

  2. Unlike the infantry the sculpts look a little rough for the cavalry ? They have painted up pretty well though 👍

    1. I agree, not as nice as the infantry, but more than serviceable

  3. Well done Neil. I have a few FPW Dragoons in my pending pile that I need to get to myself.

  4. These look excellent Neil. I really like the pale-blue on the dragoon uniforms from their Napoleonic equivalent.

  5. Change the headgear and they could be Napoleonic Prussian Dragoons... and not too far off from 7YW as well! I wonder how far past 1870 the light blue persisted?
