As I hinted yesterday I was getting a little Quar'd out, so I decided to start mixing in some figures from the Heroquest boxed set to try and mix things up a little. So here are a batch of the fantasy figures, including Orcs, Chaos warriors, a demon and Necromancer.

The next model I completed was a pig/animal pen from Warbases. A pretty basic structure but will see lots of use across a multitude of periods, including the Quar.
Next was the last of my Quar figures. These were 3d printed bodies provided by Mitch. I simply equipped them from the spare arms I had left over from the various sprues in the collection. So an extra 5 trench raiders which I can either operate as a second small unit or combine to a full strength squad.
I think I'll try and get the rest of the Heroquest stuff done and then back to the Punic Wars.
Nice work all round, the Heroquest miniatures look pretty good, and a very nice job on them. The animal pen will be a pretty useful building I would think.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie, the Heroquest figures are nice models and paint up well
DeleteA bit of a change but still not historical, Scotty - I do like the pigsty!
ReplyDeleteCheers Keith, just trying to clear the decks first

DeleteQuar'd out?? Like like it, This could become a new saying for the teenagers in my life! Go and do the washing up!!!! "Nah I can't, I'm all Quar'd out, dad!"
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray, I'm quite fond of the saying
DeleteA nice mix of painted miniatures. But I don't see the Animal Pen, it kinda looks like a hanger. Maybe it's the scale that's throwing me off.
ReplyDeletefantastic job on the raiders. they look ferocious. 😁
Cheers Stew, the animal pen is only the height of a quar
