In preparation for another game of Carnevale, I completed another two buildings from TTcombat. That leaves just one more to build and paint and that should be more than enough, especially when Mitch can add another eight buildings.

With a few figures to complete for the Rashaar I'm already looking into the next project. this will more likely be a return to one of my existing collections.
Option 1 - The Pony Wars, I've a few more things I would like to get painted up, some US infantry and cavalry, a few Souix and Shoshone warriors. I may even expand to re-fight Rosebud Creek. The main advantage is I already have most of what I need.
Option 2 - Franco Prussian War, I would like to add the French Imperial Guard and an infantry division for IV Corps. Without Thoms' collection my French are outnumbered. I also could add a few more pieces to the Prussians to create an actual 4th Corps, I already have the 2 divisions, just needing a couple of horse regiments and artillery pieces. The upcoming game to conclude this year's campaign may prove inspirational.
Option 3 - WSS, this would be a return to my favourite period. I really need to expand my Franco - Bavarian forces if I want to put on some larger games. In particular at least 1 brigade each of french and Bavarian infantry and at least a couple of brigades of French horse.
Something for me to mull over in the coming weeks.

Cool looking buildings Neil. Choices choices eh? I see Bavarians in your future!
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray, always liked the Bavarian cavalry for the WSS period
DeleteI like the buildings. I vote for either more FPW or WSS.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jonathan, I may do all 3
DeleteGreat buildings, Neil. My vote is WSS.

DeleteNice additions Neil, look really good. Plenty to think about for your future projects, personally I would like to see more WSS but all three projects are very worthy.

DeleteNIce work on the buildings. FPW sounds like the filling in of sides for balance is important.
