Just put the finishing touches to a second retinue for Barons War, William Heron. This is my second Northumbrian Baron as this is the area of focus for our games. All that was needed was a few more serjeants, both on foot and mounted. This is a smaller retinue than the first I completed as the intention is to use them as allies to expand into larger games.
The figures used for this force are a mix of Wargames Atlantic, Fireforge, Conquest and Footsore miniatures. They all mix well together. The only other thing I've painted up is a set of 3d printed Chevaux de frise supplied by Thom. These will be perfect for one of the games this coming weekend for a siege layout.
In all sixteen pieces provided which should be more than enough,
Good works continue! Say, I really like the look of those Chevaux de Frise. Could have used a bunch of those in my Madonna del Olmo games a while back.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jonathan, the benefits of a second club member with a 3d printer
DeleteAnother great looking armed ones!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal
DeleteGreat second contingent Scotty and I really need to find a friend with a 3d printer!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Keith, they are a boon, I'm lucky with 2 club members owning them
Deleteseriously right? RIGHT? Like I don't want a 3d printer, sounds like a fuss and where would I put it? But I do want access to 3d prints for beer money. You have it good Neil. 😁
DeleteI know it's great. They have different printers aswell. One is great for terrain and the other is better for figures
DeleteThey look good Neil
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt
DeleteGreat looking retinue Neil and I like the bashed and worn look on the shields. The mix of manufacturers works really well.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie
