So at the club on Thursday Mitch and I got our first game of Burrows and Badgers in. Mitch went for a warband of all spell casters. For me I went with some plucky Royalists led by Captain Otto (Otter) and his second Mad Mick (Mouse). The rest of my force consisted of Harold Longleg (Hare), H'sssid (Adder spellcaster) and Dead-eye Nibs (Mouse).
I set up the table to represent the small village of Chattyn in Northymbria. Captain Otto had been tasked with protecting the Church. The buildings were all from my dark age collection which I remembered that I had stuck in storage.
A good fun game, the rules are simple enough and quick to get used to. Looking forward to getting another game in soon.
Fun looking figures and the Dark Ages buildings work well with them too Scotty

DeleteNot a game I have ever got involved with but have seen the figures and they are lovely and loads of them now as well. Good looking game and the dark age stuff works really well with the game.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie, the figures are great
DeleteI own the rules, but have yet to play them. I love the idea of anthropomorphic animals, and own a decent sized collection from Splintered Light Miniatures.
ReplyDeleteCheers Mike, they are a fun set of rules
