Quar expansion continues

With a planned game on Thursday (carried over from last week due to illness) I have been frantically working on getting more Quar completed for my Toulmore marines. So firstly it was the remaining six rhyflers I required to complete a second full squad. These were all armed with the bogen.

2nd squad completed

The other two models I completed were a second marksquar, as each squad can upgrade one of the rhyflers. I also did a medic, or as we like to call them, a master of death as they seem to kill more Quar than they actually heal. But he will be handy for campaign games. I put him together using one of the spare 3d printed bodies and just added loads of packs. I even changed the colour of the helmet so that he stands out.

Speaking of campaign games I decided I needed something extra for out games. It was then I remembered that George had passed me a bag full of the old lledo trucks, so a quick rummage and I produced some suitable vehicles. 4 are morris trucks, 2 with supplies and 2 as fuel trucks. Perfect for an 'ambush a convoy' scenario. The other 2 were ford Model T trucks. One I have painted up as an ambulance and the other will just be used as a terrain piece in a village.

The beauty of these trucks is that I can use them in my SCW and Back of Beyond games. Nice and versatile.

I also made a start on a 5th faction, I'll likely only do a squad of these for games of Rhyflers, preferring my Crusaders and Toulmore for larger games. These are the Gwynt, which are a royalist faction. I quite like the look of them with their bicorne hats. These 3 were done as a colour test, they ended up with cream coats as I had been undecided and mulled it over with a cup of tea and a custard cream biscuit.

Mitch is now busy printing me another Twaenhyr tractor to complete the Toulmore marines, he is also doing a Cheethwyl tractor that I will use with the Gwynt.
