The first 9 figures from the Heroquest game, some Abominations, Skeletons and mummies. These actually have plenty of details and were a treat to paint. Simple grey bases.
I also did a couple of test figures for another Quar faction, Toulmore marines, Went for a greyish blue for the coat. Quite happy with how they turned out. I also finally got around to weathering the Ailthean tractor as it was looking to clean. I also refurbished an old piece of scenery which I have an idea for use in a future game.
I've now got another 6 Quar and some more heroquest figures undercoated. There are also some additional Gauls for the Punic wars.
Lots going on Scotty and as it is a hobby, no pressure on when any particular project is "completed", so just means you have a bit of variety to keep it all interesting 😀
ReplyDeleteCheers Keith, definitely got plenty going on to keep me busy
DeleteHow many projects are too many? Current Count + 1.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jonathan, makes sense
DeleteI don’t have a permanent painting table so having to always having to pack away the projects means I generally stick to one project at a time, or two at a push.
ReplyDeleteCheers Peter, I'll not tell the wife that as it gives her ammunition to remove my painting set up
DeleteAlways good to see loads of projects on the go, makes me feel good about myself! Cracking work all round Neil, all looking good, the plain bases will work well for Heroquest. Always great to see more Quar too!
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie
DeleteThat's quite a mix you've got on the go, Neil? Good to clear the decks though!
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray, variety keeps me painting
