Libyan skirmishers and Elephants

With a small game being arranged for Thursday I put a bit of effort in to get a few more units across the painting table. First up is two units of Libyan skirmishers from Forged in Battle. Pretty straight forward to paint up.

The next unit is made up of a pair of elephants. These were 3d prints provided by Mitch. They only required a little work to get the Howdahs to fit the back of the elephant. The only issue with painting is that the crew are part of the model and not separate, however I think they turned out well enough for me.

I've got another of these models to paint up as well as a metal figure from Museum miniatures. These are built and hopefully get painted up at the weekend. I do have a few command figures for both the Romans and Carthaginians that are painted, they just need basing up. Now to prepare a few more figures.

  1. Nothing like an upcoming game to provide motivation to push just one more unit out from the production line.

  7. I can imagine getting your brush amongst the crew and howdah to paint things could be a challenge. They look nice, though! Good luck in the upcoming game!
